The start of Dona Aurora Jewellery

My name is Alice and I live in Groningen with my husband, 3-year-old son, baby, and our cat Nina. I'm half Dutch, half Portuguese, have lived abroad a lot, and I absolutely love Portuguese jewelry❤️💍

The online store started with an idea that just popped into my head one day. How fantastic would it be to sell designer jewelry from Portugal in the Netherlands? Gold and silver jewelry, lovingly crafted by goldsmiths.

I enthusiastically began researching everything about a completely new field that has nothing to do with international collaboration, a field I'd already been working in for years. I sought out unique jewelry designers, came up with a name and corporate identity, registered my company, built a website, and learned about jewelry, marketing, IT, photography, and everything related to it. It was so much fun!

My first collection features Portuguese jewelry brands that excel in style and design. It was wonderful to meet the talented designers in Portugal, admire their collections and workshops, and, of course, put together a beautiful selection. Since the jewelry is handmade, Dona Aurora works with small editions. This way, you'll wear something truly unique! 💎
